How To Set Realistic Creativity Goals
4 Things To Consider
Over the last close to 9 years I’ve used my creativity to build multiple different projects. Now, as a freelance writer and a content creator, my creativity is even more important.
While I speak often about how creativity influences how we move through life, I know that there’s a lot of noise about how we approach creativity in our business life.
There’s a misconstrued assumption that creativity is either present or it’s not. I believe that creativity is a muscle that’s strengthened, goals and milestones are the mile marks that help ensure you’re making it stronger. We don’t have a finite amount of creativity, it’s true that some people have more starting seeds than others but that shouldn’t determine how hard you work or how far you go.
As you’re navigating how to goal set against your creativity this year, consider these four things.
Audit your current life
Setting realistic creativity goals is rooted in betting on your future self while setting your present self up for success. Take some time to audit where your creativity is showing up right now, where you’d like it to, and how much time you have to dedicate to being creative.
